Wiegand-Compatible

Hardware with a Wiegand open-architecture platform provides a cost effective method for expanding existing access control systems.

ASSA ABLOY offers a selection of Wiegand-enabled products that allow facilities to seamlessly expand their access control systems without changing software or sacrificing aesthetics.

Integrated Wiegand products make it easy to incorporate doors and hardware into existing access control systems.

  • All Wiegand data and monitoring components, including the reader, are consolidated into locks or electric strikes.
  • Open architecture platform is compatible with all popular access control systems.
  • ElectroLynx® plug-and-go connectors prewired into the door and hardware means lower installation costs and reduced disruptions at the opening.
