Design Appeal

ASSA ABLOY understands that for many facilities, aesthetics are equally important as security. Reader-in-Trim hardware from CORBIN RUSSWIN, HES, MEDECO, SARGENT and YALE allow facilities to implement building-wide access control without sacrificing aesthetics.

In the past, an electromechanical access control system required obtrusive hardware that was accompanied by a separate credential reader. Installation was equally unsightly and necessitated extensive wiring, further disrupting the aesthetics of the opening.

ASSA ABLOY solves both these challenges by offering products that incorporate the credential reader within the hardware and reducing the overall profile on the door. In addition, ASSA ABLOY electromechanical doorway products come prewired with ElectroLynx connectiors that snap together, eliminating the need to run separate wiring.
